Crew for Director's Lab Scenes
The feature project EL FLACO (Winner Latino Screenwriting Competition Award, participant Latino Media Market '09) has been invited to Film Independent's Directors lab. As part of the Directors Lab, TWO SCENES are being filmed from the screenplay under the direction of JEFF GILBERT (winner Best Director, Chilean Film Festival) and the mentorship of Rodrigo Garcia (Mother and Child, Nine Lives, In Treatment, Six Feet Under).
This project is an EXERCISE as part of a WORKSHOP and is NON-PAID. However, this script has a lot of heat and is aiming to go into full production later this year, so this is a great opportunity to make contacts and work closely with the filmmakers.

Responsibilities:
Writing, producing, adapting and editing content for the Service's web and mobile phone-based media outlets.
Researches, selects, and prepares original material of Spanish web news reports.
Prepares multimedia news reports for the Spanish news website.
As assigned, covers news events.
Conducts and edits audio and/or video interviews.
Qualification required:
. In addition to knowledge of journalism in general, web-based journalism in particular is required. (understanding of web storytelling and developments such as social networking and community based web sites)
. Demonstrated skill in the use of complex multimedia software systems related to digital audio, video, and graphic editing as well as Internet development to produce state-of-the-art web site content. This includes news web site technologies, an understanding of HTML, content management publishing tools.
. Fluency in the Spanish is a must.
. Knowledge of Latin America is a plus. (It's history, economics, culture and socio-political development.)
